Services We Provide
Transcripts are presented in legal format (boxed, line numbered, footers, et cetera)
with title, index, exhibit, appearance and cert pages, complete with cover.
Standard and microcassette transcription machines used for different-sized tapes,
with one to four-band tape speed for different recorded speed requirements
available. CD and e-file transcription equipment/programs available for electronic
recordings.
There are three types of cover/binding styles available:
Folder type, with clear front cover, 3-hole punched style for easy removal.
Spine-type 4-hole binding with clear front cover.
Clear front cover comb-style binding, allows transcript to lie flat when open
for easy referral.
In legal transcription, all work is done on a per-page basis, with no per diem or
hourly fees involved. This means that clients pay strictly for the transcript(s)
ordered. Payment is based solely on per-page fee, with fees based on the number
of voices heard on tape and tape or recording quality. Expedite fees additional to
per-page fee.
Fees set as follows:
Dictated $2.00 per page
2-voice tape $2.50 per page
3-voice tape $3.00 per page
4-voice or more, hearings, poor quality tape, etc., will be adjustable in $.25 per
page increments if necessary..
Expedite Fees: 24-hour turnaround @ $1.00 per page additional fee; 3-day
turnaround @ $.75 per page additional fee; 5-day turnaround @ $.50 per
page additional fee.
Time Requirements
Normal turnaround time is two weeks from receipt of tape(s) CD(s), with large
amounts requiring more time as necessary for quality transcription.
Transport Methods
Tapes/CDs can be picked up and delivered within the Greater Phoenix Area,
Phoenix, Arizona, with pickup/delivery distance within 10-mile radius free of charge;
$10 pickup or delivery fee outside 10-mile radius.
For other areas in state or out, tapes/CDs and transcripts can be sent through UPS,
FedEx or US Postal Service at client expense. USPS or UPS Overnight or 2-day
delivery service recommended in cases where time is a factor; both USPS and
UPS service has in past years been excellent, with no problems as to
tape/CD/transcript damage.

Quality transcripts depend upon transcriber's skills in hearing, accuracy, speed
and, of course, on the correctness of the basic information received from the
ordering party on transcription information form. Transcription information forms
will be faxed to ordering party upon order being placed or upon receipt of
recording(s).
